BitMart Login Disclaimer and Security Notice
Important Notice Regarding BitMart Account Login, Credential Security, and Use of Special Characters
This disclaimer governs the use of the BitMart platform login system and applies to all users attempting to access their accounts through any BitMart website, mobile application, API interface, or related service. By proceeding with the BitMart login process, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this disclaimer.
1. Account Access Responsibility
Access to a BitMart account is restricted to the registered account holder only. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including but not limited to your username, email address, password, two-factor authentication (2FA) codes, recovery keys, and any associated security tokens. BitMart will never request your password via email, SMS, direct message, or phone call.
If you choose to share your login credentials with any third party—intentionally or unintentionally—you do so entirely at your own risk. BitMart shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or unauthorized activity resulting from compromised credentials.
2. Password Complexity and Special Characters
To enhance account security, BitMart strongly recommends that all users create passwords that include a combination of:
- Uppercase letters (A–Z)
- Lowercase letters (a–z)
- Numbers (0–9)
- Special characters such as
! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + - = { } [ ] : ; " ' < > , . ? / \ | ~
Using special characters significantly reduces the risk of brute-force attacks, credential stuffing, and unauthorized access. Avoid using easily guessable information such as names, birthdays, phone numbers, or repeated characters (e.g., “aaaa”, “1234”, or “password!!!”).
You acknowledge that failure to follow strong password practices may increase your exposure to security risks, for which BitMart bears no responsibility.
3. Unauthorized Access and User Liability
Any login attempt made using your valid credentials will be presumed to have been made by you. This includes access gained through phishing attacks, malware, keyloggers, compromised email accounts, or insecure devices. BitMart does not guarantee detection of all unauthorized access attempts.
You agree to immediately notify BitMart support if you suspect:
- Unauthorized login activity
- Loss or theft of credentials
- Unexpected password changes
- Unrecognized transactions or security alerts
Delays in reporting security incidents may result in irreversible losses.
4. Device and Network Security
You are responsible for ensuring that the device and network used to access BitMart are secure. Logging in from public computers, shared devices, unsecured Wi-Fi networks, or jailbroken/rooted systems increases the risk of data interception.
BitMart is not responsible for damages caused by:
- Malware, spyware, or viruses
- Compromised browsers or extensions
- Screen recording or keystroke logging software
- Third-party applications interfering with login processes
Always log out after each session and avoid saving passwords in browsers on shared devices.
5. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
BitMart highly recommends enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) using authenticator apps or hardware security keys. While 2FA adds an additional layer of protection, it does not eliminate all security risks.
You are responsible for securely storing backup codes and recovery keys. Loss of these items may permanently restrict access to your account. BitMart may not be able to restore access if identity verification fails.
6. Phishing and Social Engineering Disclaimer
BitMart shall not be liable for losses resulting from phishing websites, fake mobile applications, impersonation accounts, or fraudulent communications that imitate BitMart branding. Always verify URLs carefully and ensure you are accessing the official BitMart domain.
Be cautious of messages containing:
- Urgent security warnings
- Requests for login details
- Links with misspellings or extra characters
- Promises of rewards, airdrops, or giveaways
Legitimate BitMart communications will never ask you to disclose your password or private keys.
7. System Availability and Login Interruptions
BitMart does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the login system. Maintenance, system upgrades, network congestion, cyberattacks, or force majeure events may temporarily restrict access.
BitMart is not liable for losses, missed trades, or inconveniences caused by login delays, failed authentication attempts, or system outages.
8. Legal and Compliance Notice
By logging into BitMart, you confirm that your use of the platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. Accessing BitMart from restricted regions or using false information may result in account suspension or termination.
BitMart reserves the right to monitor login activity, restrict access, reset passwords, or require additional verification if suspicious behavior is detected.
9. Acceptance of Disclaimer
By proceeding with the BitMart login process, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- You assume full responsibility for account security
- You understand the importance of special characters and strong passwords
- You waive any claims against BitMart for losses caused by credential compromise
- You accept all risks associated with digital asset access
If you do not agree with this disclaimer, do not proceed with the login process.
